    Cat: Elliott Owner: Mere Appearance: C “He’s usually very cute! I have him wear soft claws most of the time. About once a week though, (and I don’t know how he does this) he goes and gets his paw wet and then gets in his litter box and comes out with a poopy paw. Just one paw. So he loses points for that. Also, after he’s done playing with the puppy, he’s usually slobbered on and wet.” Sociability: B “If he knows you, he’ll approach you. My mom’s allergic and refuses to touch him, but he’ll come up to her and rub her legs. With me, he will plop down and roll over so I can pet his tummy. He also loves a good ear rub. With strangers, he’s very cautious and will head up the stairs to keep an eye out, and wait til he wants to meet you. With dogs, he’s used to one, so he’s OK with them.” Usefulness: A “He’s good at keeping the puppy occupied. It’s also fun to watch him get my mom worked up.” Huggability: A “You can’t make him sit with you. If he wants to he will, but he’s a great snuggler. I’ve heard stories of cats sleeping by your head at night or under the covers with you, but every night, he stays on top of the blankets and lays in between my legs.” Overall Grade: B+
